
Alicia Danielle
O’Brien MSPT, CCCE
Alicia completed her undergraduate
degree from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science in Health
Services and a minor in Psychology. Alicia
achieved her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton
in 2006 where she conducted research using balance-related measures in older
adults with arthritis. In 2007, she
presented her research as a platform presentation at Combined Sections Meeting
for the American Physical Therapy Association. She is currently the clinical
education coordinator for our facility setting up clinical affiliations for
advance graduation and PT doctorate programs for the Northeast region. Outside
of the clinic Alicia participates in sporting activities including Biathalons,
rock climbing, and beach volleyball. She focuses on pediatric orthopedic
injuries, sports related injuries, and NYPD/FDNY job related injuries returning
the patients to their job duties and sporting activities.
